The Collection

This collection will continue to expand in the coming months and years.

• Books on/about/by First Ladies and awardees of National First Ladies’ Library First Ladies Salute First Women, Abigail Fillmore White House Library Collection – approx. 6,400 total

• First Lady photo archive – approx. 6,000 photos & slides

• First Lady artifacts – 150 original dresses and accessories and 120 reproductions; approx. 500 artifacts

• Other media (DVDs, videos and more) – over 500

• Authors’ research papers

Artifact Donations : The National First Ladies Library is seeking donations of artifacts pertaining to any of the First Ladies. Of particular interest are out of print books -- please refer to the bibliography sections of each First Lady to determine which books we currently need. If you have artifacts you are interested in donating, please contact the National First Ladies' Library at (330) 452-0876. Artifact donations are subject to approval by the Acquisitions Committee of the National First Ladies' Library.
